About us

Paparina is an ethical and sustainable brand designed and made in Portugal.

The name means poppy in Sicilian dialect and is dedicated to the founder's father.

In order to have a more sustainable production and to prevent that in each collection there’s no stock left, each piece is made one by one and made to order, which means your order may take about 5 business days to be produced in our atelier in Setúbal.

Swimwear

Our swimsuits are designed and tested to fit different body types from every ethnicity in the world. Tall or short, skinny or curvy, we believe every body type is naturally perfect and women should not have to adapt to swimsuits, swimsuits should be adaptable and adjustable to every body.

All our swimsuits support heavy breasts without the need of using cups or underwires, our straps come in different thicknesses and are removable and adjustable to meet the needs of every costumer.

We make fittings by appointment in one of our stockists or at our atelier in Setúbal.

Paparina fits every woman, doesn't matter your shape or weight. Every body is naturally perfect, you are naturally perfect.

Studio

Our studio collection features handmade ready-to-wear pieces like pants, shirts, dresses and a Suit Jacket designed and made with old tailoring knowledge, which makes it the star piece of every drop we make. We offer a size range from S to XL in our website, but you can order by email or WhatsApp from XXS to XXL or more.

Like our swimwear, we make fittings by appointment in one of our stockists or at our atelier in Setúbal.

Packaging

Our packaging is made with dead stock fabric and gifted in every order you make. We do not use plastic in any way, only in our courier bag, which is actually recycled plastic. Our boxes are made of 100% cardboard and it’s made in the usual brown, so they can have as many lives as you wish.

Bridal

We are now accepting brides at our atelier from January to February and from September to November. We make your dress fit your exact measurements, and we accept quirky and whimsical brides.

We can also make your bridesmaid dresses and for the guys, the tie matching the dress.
