Dear people, welcome to the last drop that comes directly out of my fantasy books - Once Upon a Broken Heart series, by Stephanie Garber..

I read these series in November, and it was love at first reading, I decided right away this would be my Valentines collection.

I tried to bring the world of this book to this collection because Jacks aka Prince of Hearts is my favourite villain of all times and I just thought that maybe I could represent this amazing universe with my Paparina. You have it all, Little Fox print was my absolute favourite because it represents the story of The Archer and the Fox and Evangeline, you have lots of pink and red too - the diamond print just because Jacks is the prince of hearts and one of the fates, and the small heart inside a star, because he didn’t think he could actually love, and after all, he falls madly in love with Evangeline.
You have lot’s of bows and puffy sleeves too because of the book’s universe, and after all, this was one of my favourite collections ever, because these were too one of my favourite book series ever.

I hope this drop makes you feel super very special and loved, and I hope you find love - self love, friendship love, family love, or your soulmates’ love, any kind of love through the year of 2025 - because you deserve to love and to be loved.

Paparina for KIDS

What can I say about this small capsule? I have a lot on my mind to share with you but don’t know where to start.

As you all may have already read, I grew up with my grandma, and she made me believe I could be any hero, any villain, any princess or prince, any character I ever chose. She used to make me bed sheet castles and tell me the most amazing stories that came directly from inside her head.

Through the years I have had a lot of requests for kids clothing, but never really wanted to give it a try, maybe because, contrary from what people usually thing, children’s clothing is much more difficult to sew than adults. But after the huge success that our monkeys, unicorns, whales and rabbits made with our own leftovers from our own production, and after so many requests from my own customers we decided to make this small capsule.

As a 31 year old without any children - this journey has been hard on me and don’t feel really well to talk about this yet - I only knew what I, as a child, really wanted, and being the eldest in my family, what my brother and cousins really had needed while growing up: super comfy, super easy clothing - something your kid can wear to run, climb trees, jump and dance and don’t ever feel uncomfortable doing it.

After all, this has always been the goal of Paparina - to be free, to feel comfy, to dance, to go out of the house, to stay at your home, to run on a beach, to jump, to swim, to do all this thinks as freely and comfy as you can.

So here is the smallest capsule with my friend’s daughter’s favourite pieces and all my childhood favourite pieces. They were tested and I can guarantee they don’t scratch!

Hope you like our Sofia, the most out of the box child I’ve ever met, I love her, she was all I ever needed to be the face of my own Kids collection.

Cremilde Bispo x Paparina

What can I say about my Cremilde? We were online friends until one day she just put herself on a train and came to meet me in person, and we’ve been inseparable since the first day we met in person.

I’ve always had this curiosity for jewellery and jewellery makers, I find them so fascinating, and there was one day that Cremilde just shot this idea ‘‘why don’t we make a collab capsule’’, of course I got immediately overly excited, this was one of my dreams, to have matching jewellery with my colourful pieces and super extra prints.

We started to work on this capsule right away, Cremilde started to look for amazing inspirations and we found out that we both had a soft spot for stars. So the Flaming Star was born, and of course, genius and magical as she is, she made my dream Jewells come true.

Beautiful as this story may seam, it was already November 2024 and we had the idea of launching in time for Christmas, and suppliers delays happen, so we had to postpone this collection to launch with my Prince of Hearts. And I think the universe was just right, because this was a match made in heaven and it became the most beautiful collab I have ever made in the 6 years of Paparina.

Dear Cremilde, I feel like I’ve known you for all my life. You're the one who makes me laugh until I cry, who listens without judgment, and who always knows how to make a bad day better. I'm so grateful for your friendship and for all the joy you bring into my life. Thank you for making this dream come true, you’re magical and I love you.

|Fourth drop of Once Upon a Time series & Final Drop of our Party Collection |

Dear people, welcome to the second drop that comes directly out of my favourite fantasy books - A Court of Thorns and Roses series, by Sarah J Maas.

Of course I had to adapt ACOTAR world to my Paparina’s style, and not wanting to fall on the merch hole, I tried to bring a different kind of ACOTAR to you. My favourite book is actually A Court of Mist and Fury where Starfall happens, so I tried to bring you a bit of this special night and a bit of dreamy Velaris.

The print Starfall is actually my favourite and most special, because it represents that special moment in my favourite book, and then you have Starlight that makes me remember Velaris at night - this one available in our most beloved glitter and in our newest velvet. To complement these two prints I introduced the silver flame glitter and the moonlight sequins.

I hope this drop makes you feel super very special, because it’s my favourite of this year, and I would like to dedicate this one to my two best book friends who influenced me to read this series Gonçalo & Maria Sousa - I’m so thankful for your place in my book life this year.

Paparina x Boogie Bag

I met Rui - Boogie Bag’s owner during September’s last Cidade do Zero, and it feels like we’ve been friends since forever.

We couldn’t believe we actually had the same taste in colors, prints and even 70’s songs, we became friends right away.

So this collab had to come for our favourite season, the party season. After a few meetings we decided to make his best seller bags in my shiny fabrics and feathers, and we are just so proud of the result. Each bag is made from 2 to 3 units, so this is a very special and limited edition collab.

In the end Rui became the older brother I never had.

Hope you really love this collab, cause it’s made of friendship and love.

Dear grandma,

I’m writing to you with my heart full of gratitude and love, because you were the one who raised me with all your care and patience.
Each piece of me carries a piece of you, in each gesture, in each choice, because you’ve always been my inspiration.
I remember one day, when I was a little girl, I was sitting by your side in the living room, watching your hands working on a scarf. I, full of curiosity, asked your repeatedly what to do with the needles, and you, with your infinite patience, holding my little hands showed me the way, stitch by stitch, until I was finally able to make my own knitting stitch.

Dear grandma,

Thank you for raising me in my own fantasy world, where bed sheets turned to castles, and inside you would tell me the most beautiful and amazing made up stories. Because these were the stories that made my beautiful imagination and gave wings to my creativity and ability to make up eternal ideas for all the collections in the world. Thank you for teaching me how to draw, paint and sew my first pieces when I was a little girl. And thank you for raising me to believe I could be whoever and whatever I wanted to be. You will always be my greatest inspiration for my Paparina.

This letter is for you, grandmas and moms out there who were always our safety, our inspiration to move on, with strength, tenderness and resilience.

What can I say about this small drop? It’s so very special because it was dreamed and designed during summer by our intern Cristiana Barroso and launched in our first cold Autumn days. It’s dedicated to the most special people in our little world, our grandmas. To consummate this small drop we added the coolest stripes and our most beloved prints in satin scarfs.
